Little Miss Madi had her 8th birthday on May 1st. What a special year! She had all her grandparents here, which has never happened before. My Uncle Jeff, Aunt Cindy and their kids, Jake and Larissa came too. Tony and Steve took cupcakes to Madi's class at lunchtime and checked her out of school early. She wanted steak and tamales for dinner, so that's what we had. After we sang to her and quickly opened presents, we went to the local car races with Steve and Gail and Jeff and Cindy and their kids. There were a couple good races, but one was crazy close. Made the whole night worth it. We had so much fun, but we were exhausted at the end of the night!
