This is my second week of not having a calling. I knew I was busy, but I didn't realize how busy I was. I've been getting so much done! We spent the day at the state fair yesterday - the ENTIRE day. It left Gracie exhausted. She slept through the whole night for the first time. She didn't wake up until 5:30 this morning. She went back down again after we put Madi on the bus, so I decided to make some pasta. A friend got me this little machine as a gift this weekend, and I had to give it a try.
Look at all the pasta I made today! Some noodles and some bowtie pasta. I wanted to try some wheat pasta too, so I had to get out the wheat grinder. Gracie even slept through that jet engine!
Of course, making all this pasta left my kitchen looking like this. Guess you know what I'll be doing with the rest of my day!
I forgot how much I like to cook for my family.

ReplyDeleteThe fair was so fun! I'm glad Gracie slept so good for you. Isn't that wonderful?! As for the pasta, I'm speechless. I think I'm lucky to open a box of spaghetti and dump it in water. :) Although, I know the feeling of that new-found freedom. You deserve it.
