FINALLY!!!!

Sometime near the end of February, I found a surprise in my mailbox.  When I opened the box after picking Madi up at the bus stop and saw a big envelope, I tried not to get excited.  Even when I saw the Wake County Clerk's office stamp as the return address, I tried not to get my hopes up.  I was honestly wondering how old Gracie would be when we got the papers that said she is legally ours.  Madi saw it too and could hardly wait to get in the house.  Sure enough, there was the adoption decree.  Madi wanted to tell everyone - well at least SOMEONE!  She called Tony at his office number and on his cell.  No answer.  She called Nana and Papa.  No answer.  I could go on, but you get the picture ;)  It was so cute to hear her leave voice messages for everyone saying that she was finally an official big sister.  It was so sweet to see that she was just as anxious as the rest of us!
Nana, Papa, Kesti and Bridger all got flights and we were sealed to Gracie in the Raleigh temple March 5th.  I was so distracted (big surprise) with everything going on, that we have very few pictures.  I certainly don't have pictures of everyone who was at the temple, or even those who made it to dinner at our house afterward.  Luckily, Kesti grabbed our camera and snapped a few shots as we came out of the temple though.  Thank-you, Kesti!!  And thanks to all our friends and family for your love and support.
