Stupid Computer!

I have a wonderful friend who lives on the wrong side of the country.  We were roommates in college and became practically inseparable.  Well until we were separated ;)  I ended up in North Carolina and her family landed in Colorado.  As the years have passed, our families have grown and it's become more and more difficult to catch up with each other.  She flew out here a little over a year ago - just a quick weekend trip for Gracie's sealing.  After she left I was devastated to realize I had not a single picture with her in it!  I had not a shred of evidence that she had been here.
Early in June, her sweet husband arranged for the girls and I to use some frequent flier miles and surprise her. She had no idea we were arriving.  What a trip!  We were there for a little over two weeks and had tons of fun!  We took a zillion pictures, to be sure there was proof that we had been together again.  So why on earth haven't I posted all our fun and pictures?  Enter new computer :(

We purchased a fancy new computer this spring.  I was so excited, since our last one was from the Dark Ages.  We were just loving it!  So much faster.  I would no longer have to dread blog posts due to the ridiculous length of time it took my computer to catch up.  Unfortunately something happened to it while we were in Colorado.  It died.  Like the blue screen of death - died.  We are still back and forth with the company trying to get it all taken care of.  All my pictures from Colorado are waiting on my phone to be loaded so I can post about that trip.
All Gracie's pictures from her birthday are on the real camera, waiting to be posted.
All the pictures from our trip to Old Salem are on the phone . . . waiting to be posted.
All our pictures from the day trip to the beach that we will take this week will remain on my phone.
Along with anything else that we take pictures of before it gets fixed.

We attended church in Fuquay Varina for the first time this past Sunday.  Our new building was completed and we no longer have to drive to Apex for church.  It only takes us 6 minutes to get there.  We are so spoiled.  It's a beautiful building on a huge lot.  I'd post a pic, but . . .

We have really had a great summer so far.  So much fun this year!  Hopefully I'll be able to show you in the near future ;)
