My 52 Project - Week 7

Week 7 - Catchlights

I asked Shannon to pick the assignment for week 7.  Then I panicked!  What was I thinking asking the photographer to pick the prompt???  I was so happy to see that she chose catchlights.  It's been fairly easy with G's dark eyes in the past to manage catchlights.  This week . . . not so much.  Her usual reaction to seeing me pull out the camera is a pouty face.  Refusing to stand where I want her to stand.  Things like that.  This week . . . the squinty eyes.  SUPER SQUINTY!

You may look at this and guess that the bright sun was blinding her.  Nope :/  Sabotage was her middle name that day.  Trust me - 5 year olds are perfectly capable of sabotage!  She went from super squint to insane, out-of-control wiggling.

I gave up quickly and turned to the 13 year old.  The one who sits still for hours, reading any book she can get her hands on.  Now SHE can be still enough for a picture!

And there are catchlights in her pretty li'l eyes too :)  M saves the day!

Next Week - Red
