Violin

My students had a piano recital the first week of Thanksgiving.  We were joined by a voice/piano teacher and a violin teacher.  By the time the 3rd violin student started playing, Madi was begging me to let her play the violin.  I headed to the music store to rent one and off she went.  She was determined to learn Jolly Old St. Nicholas in time to play at the nativity display held by our church each year.  She practiced more than I ever thought she could.  Sometimes an hour a day.

She did it!  She learned the song in just two weeks and played with the other children.  I couldn't believe how determined she was. She's loving playing that violin more than I ever thought she would.  So exciting!
